Mario Ionuț Maroșan

Mario Ionuț Maroșan is a doctoral candidate in political philosophy at the Faculty of Philosophy of Laval University and a doctoral candidate in Jewish thought and philosophy at the Institute of Religious Studies of the University of Montreal. He grew up in Romania and Quebec, and did his undergraduate studies in philosophy, religion and politics at the University of Ottawa. Between 2017 and 2019, he completed a master's degree in political philosophy (under the supervision of Prof. Charles Blattberg) and an attestation of graduate studies in university and college education (under the supervision of Prof. Francisco A. Loiola) at the University of Montreal. Member of the research and analysis team of the Montreal Declaration for the responsible development of artificial intelligence, teaching and research assistant in political philosophy and Jewish thought, and member of Collectif Jewishness(ies), Mario Ionuț Maroșan studies political conflicts and responses to conflicts (violence, negotiation and conversation), hermeneutics and monism, metaphysical pluralism and nihilism.
